This trust was a gift to the Riverside UCC.  It’s purpose is to promote the use of music for religious expression.

Pastoral Relations Ministry shall provide pastoral support, strive to maintain the highest level of trust and communication between the minister and the congregation and seek to honestly convey the feelings of the congregation to the pastor.  Additionally, the ministry shall make annual salary and benefit package recommendation to the council, as well as providing the council with the pastoral evaluation instrument.

Riverside Community Church

These are active Committees and Boards at Riverside Community Church, United Church of Christ.

The coordinating body representing the congregation.

The work of the Mission Board at Riverside Community Church UCC is to help the congregation envision our mission in the world, towards God's kindom, a better world.  The Mission Board seeks to help the congregation develop programs and projects toward fulfillment of that mission.  From our shared visions it promotes denominational as well as local projects by disbursement of budgeted funds and other gifts to Riverside Community church as we are able, for the needs of church members, our community, and the world.

The Riverside Friendship Guild meets monthly from Sept. through May.  The guild provides opportunities for fellowship, spiritual growth and service to the Riverside church family and the Hood River community.  All women of the church are invited to participate.

 

Oversees development and implementation of Christian Education programs for children, youth and adults.

Supports the pastor in preparing for worship; provides ushers, greeters, liturgists and flowers.  Fulfills church membership by laws.
