Meet Our Staff – Seminary Intern

Our seminary intern, Laura Nelson, comes to us from San Francisco Theological Seminary, and will be serving with us until August 2012.  During her internship, Laura will: help plan worship, teach adult education classes, participate in pastoral care, and work with the Mission Board, to name a few things.  One particular interest of Laura’s is the intersection of food and faith, how we experience eating as a sacred gift.

When she is not at Riverside, Laura is also interning with Bethel Congregational Church, UCC in White Salmon, WA.  She can also be found with her husband hiking, biking and exploring her new home, or baking!
